Biog- 39-F-Will

This is a copy of Elizabeth Jane Walker’s Will (1835-1864) made on 26 Jan. 1864, Daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Walker

I Elizabeth Jane Walker of Hay-a-Park in the Parish of Knaresbro’ and County of York, do make this my last Will and Testament.

It is my Will that after the payment of my just debts, funeral and Testamentary expenses, I give and bequeath all my real and personal property of whatever kind unto my Brothers, Joseph Walker, Benjamin Walker, John Walker and Edwin Walker, their heirs or assigns, share and share alike. And I appoint my brothers Joseph and Benjamin my Executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.

In witness whereof I hereby set my hand and Seal this twenty sixth day of first month, One Thousand eight hundred and sixty four.

Signed by the Testatrix, Elizabeth Jane Walker, in the presence of us, who, at her request, and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses there of the day and year above written.

This is the Will referred to in the annexed affirmation of Sarah Ellen Webster made and subscribes before me this twenty sixth day of October, 1864.

Proved at Wakefield, the twenty Sixth day of October, 1864, by the affirmation of Joseph Walker and Benjamin Walker, the Brothers, the Executors, to whom Administration was granted.

The Testatrix Elizabeth Jane Walker was late of Hay-a-Park in the Parish of Knaresbrough in the County of York, spinster, and died on the tenth day of October 1864 at Leeds in the said County.
